Why is it promising for cancer?

Fenbendazole is promising because of it's anticancer biological activities, such as:

• Inhibiting glycolysis (the metabolic pathway that breaks down glucose),
• Down-Regulating glucose uptake (cells reduce their ability to pull sugar from the bloodstream),
• Inducing oxidative stress (actively triggering an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants)
• Enhancing apoptosis (triggering or accelerating the body's natural process of programmed cell death) in published experimental studies.
